Monroe Monroe arrived 07/07/07 Owner claimed he had a condition that their vet was unable to cure.  Our vet (Dr. Hollendonner) actually said to us, "I have never seen a horse this skinny that was still alive".  He did agree with us that his only "condition" appeared to be starvation.       07/07/07 He could barely support his own weight!                                                           08/07/07           Still a long way to go, but looking MUCH better!                                                                                               09/07/07                           Look how shiny his coat is getting!                                                    10/07/07                  Believe it or not; this IS the same horse!                            Now I have the strength to roll all the way over!     11/07/07 Look Ma, no ribs!                             02/08  And finally, strong enough to join my new family!     My pajama buddy: Houdini
